Our family discovered Creede in the early 2000's, and it was love at first snow. All the scenery you can chew and the familiarity of good people all around made the town a mountain oasis that needed to be made available to everyone... so in early 2008 we set out to carve a cozy spot for all to feel welcome.

Five cabins and a house, gutted and rebuilt with love and care, followed by two apartments in the summer of 2022 make Silver Thread Escape the best getaway no matter what the occasion. The we aren't hosting wedding parties, we're housing hardworking miners, musicians for the Headwaters Music Festival, or the actors from our nationally recognized repertory theatre!
