Wolf Creek Ski Area
Something most people don’t know: Wolf Creek Ski Area has the most natural snow in all of Colorado. Skiing is affordable, and the terrain varies from gentle beginner slopes to the steep and deep. Spend a day at Wolf Creek – it is only 45 minutes from Creede and the drive is gorgeous. Onsite dining facilities offer breakfast and lunch with burgers, pizza, salads, soups; beer, wine & spirits. We recommend the the Hawaiian Ono Burger while you dine at the lodge. A perfect winter day!

Downhill skiers and snowboarders alike will love the family-oriented atmosphere and limited lift lines at Wolf Creek. With 1600 acres of terrain, beginners to advanced skiers and boarders will feel right at home. Several lifts provide access to a large number of trails, with 20% for beginners, 35% intermediate, 25% advanced, and 20% for experts.

Wolf Creek also offers individual and group ski lessons for all ability levels starting at the age of 5. The Wolf Pup Center is for smaller children, where access to the “magic carpet,” Nova lift, and private kid-friendly lodge create the perfect haven for youngsters to learn a new sport. The Hot Shots program is specifically designed for adventurous children aged 9-12 who are looking to explore the mountain. Adult lessons and clinics are great for learning the sport or refining your technique.
