Creede Parks and Recreation operates year round out of the Virginia Christensen Multi Use Facility located at 408 La Garita Avenue. The facility has a full basketball court, a large weight room/cardio area, as well as a small studio room used for spin, yoga and various other activities. Offering workout classes, community events, and youth programs and camps to participants of all ages. The City of Creede Recreation also manages programs at Silver Park Hockey Ponds and the Creede Ball Field.

MEMBERSHIP
Creede Parks and Recreation offers various fee options for gym use to fit your needs. Options include monthly, 6 months, and annual fees for seniors, youth, adults, families, and businesses. There are also daily use and program fee options for those who do not wish to commit to a monthly membership.

Ed Hargraves Park (Ball Park)
1190 South Main Street. On Hwy 149 at the south edge of Creede, the town ballpark is available for a variety of uses from ball games to kite flying. Large space, great for events, pet-friendly, restrooms, dugouts, and picnic area adjacent to the multiuse trail.
Skate Park
1180 South Main Street. Fun skate park with ramps and rails. Pet-friendly, picnic area, restrooms.
Basham Park
15 South Main. Located in the heart of town, Basham Park offers a pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, the Days of ’92 arena, drinking water, a veteran’s memorial garden, and a shady place to relax and watch the world go by. Pet-friendly and ADA accessible.
Seime Park
130 Bee McClure Drive. Incredible views, mini amphitheater, pet-friendly, adjacent to hillside trail to town, the Sunnyside Church and the Mineral County Cemetery.
Collins Memorial Art Park
113 North Main. Beautiful landscaping, seating, sculpture, and art along historic Main Street. ADA accessible.
Silver Ice Park
16 USFS 503. Two maintained ice hockey ponds with full lighting, bleachers, and shelter. Great spot for dogs to play in the summer. Adjacent to Willow Creek and near the Underground Mining Museum.

Creede Community Center
One of the most unique community facilities in the country, the Community Center is a series of rooms blasted from the mountain on the north edge of Creede. With theater and banquet seating for as many as 200 and a full commercial kitchen, the Community Center is an important facility in the county's social and political life. Also available for rent, the Center has both fully finished and tunnel-sculpted rooms that will provide your event with one of the most unusual settings available.
